About us:
Jonah Skoles
Jonahs Skoles came to India from the Nederlands as a kid in 1986 and has been here since. Today, he focuses on Technical Dive training and mixed gases like Trimix. He also helps in environmental and research projects where scuba diving is required. Instructor Trainer Jonah pioneered Sidemount and Technical diving in India. Part of the first Technical diving course and Sidemount course run in India by Steve Lewis and later on the first PADI Technical Diving Instructor program in the country with Jonas Samuelsson.
In the words of Jonah Skoles,” When I think back on the first Tec course, getting the required equipment and gases, imagine having one of the world’s top instructors running a course and you’re lucky enough to be in it and organize it. Every few months we looked at what was next and how we could do this better. Those were the days of firsts and I was at the right place at the right time.”
During those years Jonah was teaching equipment and compressor service programs all over the country. As well as growing technical diving in India, while getting to know the industry in all its colors.
Today he is spearheading the first Dive RAID center in India and helping bring awareness to trim and buoyancy right from Open water level.
