Instructor Development
As a prospective instructor, you know how long it takes to get comfortable in the water with new skills, and how important skills like buoyancy control and Trim are. As RAID instructors, We focus on training quality divers from the Open water level.
As a RAID instructor, you will become part of a selective community of Divers dedicated to teaching quality courses and sharing your love for the water with others.

- Tec Instructor courses range from 9 to 12 days and cost start from 1,35,000 RS plus GST
- Specialty Instructor courses start from 12,000 RS plus GST
- All course costs included materials and Agency fees
Instructor Development Program
- Classroom, Confined, and Open water sessions, As needed
- Course duration: 12 days plus 2 days IE conducted by DiveRaid International
- Prerequisite
- To be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Have a diving medical not more than 12 months old signed-off by a licensed medical practitioner.
- Completed and passed RAID Open Water, Advanced 35, Master Rescue, and Instructor Academic Sections Quick Quiz and Exams.
- To be certified as a RAID Divemaster or equivalent certification from a recognized training agency
- To have a minimum of 100 logged underwater hours on Open Circuit.
- To submit a RAID Master Rescue certificate, and/or equivalent and/or complete, to the satisfaction of a RAID Instructor Trainer, the in-water skills of the RAID Master Rescue Course.
- Submit a current Rescue Breathing/CPR/BLS Training and Oxygen Provider Instructor certificates. (DAN/equivalent). This Can also be done as part of the course.
Included in the course are
- Your training starts online where you will continue and refresh all your basic and professional diving knowledge You can either contact us or sign up directly on the RAID website to access your manual.
- Certification Fees, Study Materials, and IE fee’s
- 4 Specialities instructor ratings: First Aid, Oxygen Provider, Nitrox, Deep.
- Gas (air only)
Not included:
- Gas( EANX )
- Dive Equipment
- Passing the IE 😉 but we’ll do our best to have you ready.
Costs:
- The cost with first aid and oxygen provider instructor is Rs. 2,20,000 Plus GST(18%) (including IE costs)
- You are expected to have completed all reading and homework before coming, be prepared to prepare for the course
- Additional Days over the 16 days will be charged
- If any segments of the IE is failed, there will be costs to retake the IE.
Final Exam By RAID HQ
A RAID Instructor Examination (IE) is a two-day program that evaluates your teaching presentation abilities, academic knowledge, personal skill level, understanding of the RAID education and quality control system, and attitude and professionalism.
RAID IE’s are highly standardized and totally objective assessments of your abilities. They are convened only by RAID Examiners, which may include RAID International and RAID Regional Office staff. RAID IE’s are conducted at various locations globally, and you should contact your RAID Regional Office for the location of an IE near you.
The IE will test the standards, practical ability and professional attitude of the candidates. It is a milestone in the Instructor training process and the goal for anyone wanting to become a high-quality dive Instructor.
